My latest passion is the process of Polaroid Transfer. Image Transfers are printed from 35mm slides onto either 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 or 8 x 10 Polaroid sheet film. Approximately 10 seconds into the developing of the Polaroid you separate the positive from the negative. The positive is discarded and the partially developed negative is immediately applied to damp watercolor paper. When full developing time is achieved, the negative is slowly peeled off. The final effect is almost painting like; colors are warm and saturated.
